Terms for guests at Adelsö Hotel 2013
These conditions regulate prices, booking- and payment terms for room reservations.
Right to dispose rooms
The right to use the rooms is to be confirmed by e-mail.
The hotell will inform on current room rates at the website: adelsogarden.com.
Reconciliation of number of rooms booked and final name list
Reconciliation of the number of booked rooms are made by e-mail, fax or letter, when making a reservation and at least two days prior to arrival. Can also happen at other times on either part's initiative.
Terms of payment
Guests who have paid the deposit for up to two nights at Adelsögården obtains deduction for deposit in the guesthouse bill. The remaining accommodation balance is paid at arrival.
Adelsö Hotel has no credit card service.
Guests who wants to shorten the original rental period
Adelsö Hotel adjusts any costs incurred at the guest´s departure.
The fact that the guest may have to reimburse Adelsögården at shortened stay, the guests should be informed by through introducing the following in the documents received at arrival:
“The guesthouse reserves the right to receive payment for all nights booked by the registration, even if the check-out occurs before that specified date.”
By means of "No Show", guests will be charged room rate for up to two nights.
The second night will be charged only if Adelsö Hotel cannot lease the room to another guest.
Additional costs/guarantee or guest advances
Guest´s personal expenses are paid on departure. The guesthouse reserves the right to require a cash deposit or alike at arrival, to cover for any additional costs associated with the stay.
"The hotel reserves the right to a guarantee from the guest in the form of registration cards or alike when checking in. The guesthouse is entitled to claim compensation from the guest in the case of vandalism or if the guests haven’t followed the rules: smoking ban, ban pets, and so on."
If all or part of the booking are cancelled, the following applies:
-Up to 12 weeks prior to arrival, rooms may be cancelled with no charge.
-Up to 8 weeks before arrival, rooms may be cancelled with 50 % charge.
-Up to 6 weeks before arrival, rooms may be cancelled with 35 % charge.
-Up to 4 weeks prior to arrival, rooms may be cancelled with 25 % charge
-Up to 2 weeks prior to arrival, rooms may be cancelled with 10 % charge
-Up to 48 hours before 12.00, rooms may be cancelled with 5 % charge.
For cancellations other than the above times and rates, the room cost is charged for up to two nights with no other fees added.
Charging is made only if the hotel cannot lease the cancelled rooms to other guests.
Overbooked or closed hotel
In the event of overbooking of Adelsö Hotel, the hotel is bound to ensure that the guest is offered an alternative accommodation to the same standards and the same room price. Adelsö Hotel pays for taxi or other transportation. The hotel is therefore responsible for any price difference.
If the hotel is under reparation or kept closed due to repairs, it is bound to arrange other accommodations with the same standards and the same room price.
In the event of war, authority decision, terrorism, disaster, strikes, civil disorder or any other condition that the parties do not control and make it non-advisable, illegal or impossible for the parties to fulfill their obligations, may by announcement and without obligation to pay damages in any form.
